I don't know if anyone has mentioned this special sale at Slate and Shell for John Fairbairn's books on Go Seigen: http://www.slateandshell.com/SSGS999.html

This "Birthday Pack" says that it is half-price ($90) for the next 10 days. It doesn't say when the sale started, though. (I just noticed it tonight. If it started on his birthday, they should have removed it by now.)

Well, I clicked on the BUY NOW and it came up with a price of $90.

Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Sorry to bring it up, as the sale is over. $90 is the full price for the four books listed in the paragraph. If anyone mentioned the sale back in June, I missed the announcement. :cry:
