A Japanese word with which I resonate: http://www.openculture.com/2014/07/tsun ... guage.html

Open Culture is worth a visit for anyone who may be interested in free stuff: online college courses (many major American universities), foreign language instruction (e.g., U.S. Foreign Service Institute, Peace Corps, Japan Foundation, universities around the world, etc.), K-12 resources, movies, e-books, audio books, etc.

Perfect for my Go books, too.

Factoids: the kanji for doku, 読, to read, is the same as in
yomi 読み in byōyomi 秒読み (to "read" the seconds), and in
yomiuri 読売, the newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun 読売新聞.

Not to be confused with the doku 独 in sūdoku 数独,
the popular number puzzle. :)
