Seeing this post topic in the off-topic section made me expect something a bit more existential.

My life feels like I'm struggling to just get sente. Fate is a stronger player, poking at my bad shape and making me heavy. I'm having to take gote just to survive.

It seems it wasn't turned off for any particular reason. I think that's just the default setting for that mod. I've turned it on.

you care so much about a little button that just spreads kudos throughout the clique. why is that such a big deal?

posts in off topic do not contribute to the idea of the forum. people who get liked should do so because they made an insightful post related to go. now if it were up to em, the like option would never exist. but if it has to stay, it being on in off topic creates disillusion for newcomers. theyre going to assume that people with a lot of likes are very helpful, when its really when they made a crappy joke about sente or gote.
