I will soon be opening up APIs for 3rd party developers to use.
This will allow programmers to do interesting things with data hosted on Igolocal, specifically mobile apps.

The basic map data shown on the front page map of Igolocal is downloadable by anyone at the following URL:



The JSON format is a well-accepted standard, and has interface libraries on iPhone and Android Operating Systems:
