I was not expecting the cut. At first I thought I had made a huge mistake, but as I read it out, it doesn't seem to be too bad for me.
If we assume the following sequence, Black has a number of options of how to respond from here. Lets focus on a-d which seem like the most obvious choices.

First "a". Because 2 is an atari, and the ladder works, those two stones are easily expendable.

If "b", then Black has to defend with 3 to prevent the ladder. I have some forcing moves in the center, so I think the situation is not all together hopeless. Maybe I can live or get a ko.

The peep at "c" has the same fallback as "a", just let go of those two stones and ladder the stones on the outside.

"d" is the hardest to deal with, because it eliminates a lot of the aji in the corner that might help me make life. After the sequence below, Black can spend another move on the side to keep White from getting more eyes, but White can the cut the two stones offin the center with "a".

In conclusion, I hope this fight works out for me, because if it doesn't the game is over.
