Hello!

I just bought a physical Go-game with a 19x19 board.
These are the contents: https://www.amazon.de/Go-Spiel-Studente ... ds=Go+game
For some reason (or maybe thats typical for the game?) it didn't exactly come with a typical box.
There only was the board, the bowls and the stones and some introduction material.

Has anyone some tip where to buy or how to build some box for the game? :D I must admit I'm already struggling to find a place for the game since the board is pretty big :D
It will probably also be pretty hard to find a place for a box which contains all of the components since the stones require quite some volume too while the board is at least pretty flat.
So yeah, any tips on how to safely and neatly store a go game are appreciated :D

Hi Narktor,

Welcome to Go. :)

Usually, we don't think of a "box" for a Go set, just like we don't think of a "box" for a table or chair --
it's not meant to be stored away ; it's meant to be used, regularly. :)

However, some companies offer products like this:

If go sets were stored into boxes in Japan, they are usually stored in boxes made from Paulownia wood.
They would have to be ordered separately as not everyone stores their equipment in such boxes.
You can try the following link to order the boxes if you so desire.
