Also i need to stop thinking my opponent's territory is so big and get too greedy/hasty. If i used my thickness properly and got under the open skirt, I could have turned the game around.

I also think the gap between 8 and 7k is massive... lol the games are starting to make me think pretty hard now. I had a 85% winrate vs 9ks when i was a 10k, and a 70% winrate against 8ks as a 9k - i have a feeling it will be alot harder and will require alot more studying to progress from here.])
