This post is a summary of a recent Tygem article [1], which came to mind from the recent discussion about money and Lee Sedol's resignation from the pro association (
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=13200).
Some of you may have noticed the watch Lee Sedol was wearing during the AlphaGo match.
As the case may be, he was wearing an LG Watch Urbane (2nd edition) because he was sponsored by LG Electronics [2] - they paid Lee money in exchange for advertising their brand. Today it came to light that Lee Sedol decided to donate all of the money he received from LG as a part of a joint social campaign with LG to the Sungmin Community Welfare Center (in Seoul).
As a result, the money LG gave to Lee became a donation to community welfare. Lee bought the disabled students 50 LG G5 smartphone+camera sets, and gave them as presents. They took a picture together here (from the article).

Employees of LG Electronics taught the students how to work the cameras, and the students expressed their thanks. They also gave him a bag having the kifu of his match(s?) with AlphaGo, which read, "Happiness is Love". Then, they sang him a song, "Goose's Dream" (in hide tags, in case you are interested):
