I became 8k on KGS the same day I joined L19 (28th Apr 2010). Now I think I'm 4k there, so 4 stones.

:D I started off as a 21kyu, and I have now reached 11kyu. I guess it's slow development, but I'm happy with how far I've come since I started playing, and I can thank this forum for a lot of that development! :bow:

maybe time for some (Go) lessons about counting. This might easily get you to the 4 stones ;-)

You are too humble. I remember we both were around 6-7k around one year ago, so you have improved 4-5 stones in only one year.

hmmm ... looks like I joined GD in october of 2008 ... at 7k on KGS. I'm now 3k (2k soon maybe?). 4 stones in two years or so. Definitely slow going.

When I joined GD in July 2008, I was bouncing between 6k and 7k KGS. I'm still 6k on KGS, so I haven't even improved by a full stone. :mad:
