Well Ember and I got married last week and we also had a nice Go cake. We thought you might enjoy it. So here it is:



Since we didn't have many Go player as guests, we decided to just show the final position of the "problem".

Maybe we now have some time to play Go again.

I still remember when we told the owner of the patisserie our idea:
- "And you really don't want a normal wedding cake, do you...?"
+ "No." (*chuckle*)
Considering this (desperate) last try to evade this cake, they did a brilliant job. I surely would have gone crazy making all those stones... And considering that they didn't know about the game before, I cannot praise them enough for placing the stones correctly, it must have been very confusing for somebody who is not a Go-player.

@ Dr.Straw: Is it really important who is who? We also didn't think that we would have to say it since Ember is - as far as I know - a female first name in the English speaking world. But if it makes you happy :
