I'm watching them on hulu and they have all 75 episodes.

There is a Go Board pictured (without stones) in the intro to the new anime called "Nichijou".

This is great. I have had it saved in my queue for a couple of years now. I thought they would send me an email when saved movies became available. Thanks for the info!

Here's another webcomic with a Go sighting. http://blipcomic.com/908/ It's not my comic, it's one in my daily reading bookmarks. I saw that, and said to myself "SELF! There's some GO!"

I wonder if the artist plays? I'll have to ask.

Judging by the board position, not a lot.

There is a real quick snippet of Ukitake and Shunsui playing a game of go in episode 318 of bleach. I'm still watching so if there's more of the game (likfe of the board) I'll post that too.

Figured I'd post this anyway; Saw it listed on Sensei, but I love any opportunity to give "Pi" a shout out! http://www.pithemovie.com/go.html

I just watched "The International" with Clive Owen. There is a scene where one of the bad guys teaches go to his son.

David Wingrove's "Chung Kuo" series of Sci-fi books have go in them. One of the major villains is a very strong player.

Just saw this on the Wall Street Journal's website talking about the new Wii U touchpad controller. The first picture in the series...

Just noticed how the caption says a "Parcheesi-like game". It does bring up possiblities though.

Looks like Othello. The stones aren't on the intersections, but inside them.

Robin Hobb's Farseer Trilogy (starts off with Assassin's Apprentice) has a game that I remembered as being Go....Nighteyes (a wolf, believe it or not) actually sees the stones attacking as a pack sooner than the human (the main character) he can communicate with.

I guess after looking it up the stone game isn't specifically Go but partially based on it (http://robinhobb.com/faq/#4), but it sure is close by my recollection. Good series too. :)

茶の味 (2004). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Taste_of_Tea

I cannot recommend this movie highly enough.

Can Go be the tesuji to capture your crush's heart?

This movie gives me hope that not all romantic conquests need to end up in (vacuous) love triangles.

My friend sent me this link to a history channel program about the Art of War.
Not only does it talk about Go, it also makes comparisons to Chess. :rambo:

In the first episode of a 13 episode anime series Night Raid 1931 the characters play a short game of go while discussing a mission.

In the Korean super awesome action movie The Man From Nowhere (available in Netflix instantly), there is a scene where the protagonist walks into a game shop and the shop vendor is an old man playing go.

I have been watching the brilliant Korean costume drama Ja Myung Go.

In episode 10 General Wang Geng plots the assassination of his friend and rival General Chae Ri over a game of Baduk.

I will be looking for more Go references as I watch the series.

Neat looking goban in that one -- check out the star points. Cool stones, too.
