Well, I understood at least the parts which were in German and English. And I recognized a lot of the people shown in the background from tournaments. ![]() We are glad to have a professional Korean player here in Germany to help us weak go players become stronger. |

Do you know the other female Korean pro, who moved to Germany same time with Yoon (or a little after)? Ah, here, Kang Seung-hee, is she still in Germany? |

If I am not mistaken that was Ko Ju-Yeon (I have also seen the spelling Go Ju-Yeon or Ko Juyeon). As far as I know she lives on Sweden, but we had her in the Bochum tournament. Obviously she has also been in the Kido Cup in Hamburg. Quote: 2006 Became 1p at the age of 16 2007 became 2p Reached round of 32 in Wonik tournament. Beat Kang Dongyoon 9p and Cho Hyeyeon 8p 2008 Reached semifinal in female Kisung. 2009 Visited American Go Congress in Washington, USA Second place in pair-go Korean championship 2010 Visited European Go Congress in Tampere, Finland Teaching Go at Korean Baduk Center in Budapest, Hungary 2011 Teaching Go in Stockholm, Sweden Not active currently see http://insei-league.com/teachers.php |

I know Ko Ju-Yeon, I wasn't asking about her. I think Kang Seung-hee came to Germany together with Yoon, which was about 5 years ago. If you don't know about her probably she is not there anymore. Btw. unfortunately Juyeon went back to Korea recently. |

Is it OK to revive an old thread? Ko Ju-Yeon and Park So-Hyun are expected at the Welsh Open Tournament on 23 June 2012 in Barmouth. I will be playing, and will let you know if they say anything about their plans. |
