I came across this link while searching for ancient Japanese Go player http://blog.goo.ne.jp/igokishi-mimu/e/c ... 83cafc5e8e No idea what this is. But I also came across some korean comic about Go also some years ago. Wonder if anybody can shed light on these literature unknown in the West. |

Mmm, that one sparked my interest and I did a bit of searching. Apparently there are a bunch of Go manga that weren't as famous: * 山松ゆうきち『天元坊』 * 岛本和彦『逆袭棋士瞳』 * 仓多江美『お父さんは急がない』『続·お父さんは急がない』 * ほったゆみ·小畑健『ヒカルの碁』 * 冈野玲子『阴阳师』 * 诸星大二郎『碁娘伝』 * 川原泉『かぼちゃ计画』 * 竹本健治『入神』 * 赤冢不二夫『ニャロメのおかしなおかしな囲碁格言』 I wasn't able to get much more information regarding them, though. |

Araban used to have panels from some korean comic about Go as his avatar, but I don't remember it's name. |
