Hello,
I hope, this works technically.
In this game I had black and thought I could kill both groups, especially the lower one seemed doable. I spotted the vital point in move 35 I guess but then I messed up. Can sb give an explanation what went wrong?
I am not smart enough for the analysis function of ogs - it only shows the "best" move and the rating for some others (and the played one) but I can't really "explore" with the engine - what I would do in chess...
I tried lizzie but on a Mac it's pretty impossible to install and also no 9x9 support from leela, so, I have no idea what to do.

35 does seem like a vital point, but white can get a second eye by playing the 1-2 point, as white eventually did in the game. So when white didn't play the 1-2 for 36, you could go ahead and play it to get the kill.

Definitely, at 53 you should play at 1-2 instead, to kill.

Since the lower white group cannot be killed against best defense, black should play 35 at the 1-2 point.

Also, you want to avoid repeated mistakes. Take another look at 19 and 37. You could in both cases have captured the invading stone without letting white farther in.

What you are doing wrong here involves a general principle that will apply in other situations. Add liberties (extend)
