Is there any source for finding Go players, clubs, etc. in local areas -- Northern Virginia, USA in particular?

Online playing schedule: When my wife is out.
There is the NOVA Go Club, which meets mondays from 7pm to 11pm in Ballston. Their website is http://novagoclub.org. I'm there the vast majority of Mondays. Bring a cellphone so you can call for entry.

In Bethesda, there's the Greater Washington Go Club on Fridays from 8 to late. Their website is ancient but they're still quite active. I've been there a few times.

There is a go club that started up again this year at GMU in Fairfax. They may meet on Wednesdays. I can get more info tonight if you want it.

I also know of a korean go club somewhere in annandale. I've never been, but it's in an apartment complex, and is pay each time. It is reputedly smoky and very strong (8-dan players?).

Incidentally, the NOVA Go Club is also hosting a tournament at the GMU adjunct campus in Ballston on the 15th of December, if you are interested. It's sponsored by Slate and Shell (Bill Cobb has been known to show up) and there are books for prizes.

You can also go here and click on the map:
https://www.usgo.org/where-play-go

You'll find a listing of go clubs in Virginia, or any other state.
