Hey folks, I'm back on a sporadic basis, and would appreciate if someone could take a look at the opening of my last game (before real fighting began) and offer any suggestions.

Comments and questions are in the SGF. I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have. I may post another game here soon, in which I got crushed. Thanks!

:w46: has to be at R17. The 3-3 is the vital point in the corner for both sides. I think if black had extended to Q13 for :b51: the result would've been worse for you.

Interestingly, :w46: at R17 reverts to the basic taisha. Weren't we all taught the regular base-building moves were immutable? Black probably missed out on dishing a terrible expert-level taisha-fu punishment. ;-)

Thank you all for your suggestions. SoDesuNe, I think I may have been trying a bit too hard to be cute, and should've focused on the more basic priorities a bit.
