Hello. I'm looking for 9x9 games that are worth studying for a beginner, preferably freely available in .sgf format.

I've been playing 9x9 games wherever I can, and I'm starting to see my computer as a flawed opponent, so I'm looking for some skilled examples to inspire me on the 9x9 board.

Thanks!

Just go ahead and instead of 9x9 games try to study tsumego. Without tsumego training there is no point looking for 9x9 games. Moreover it's like pre-school period - it is good just for a short moment in life :), so I would suggest rather to start playing on 13x13 or 19x19.

You can try to play the two 9x9 games by Go Seigen:

Even on such a small board, there are many things (such as tesujis) to learn.

What computer program are you using? If you are 28k either fuego or pachi could most likely give you 4 or 5 stones on a 9x9 and still win.

The GoGod cd has a decent number of pro 9x9 games. However its not free and not even available at the moment. I guess that's not much help then ..

This post mentions a few commented 9x9 games on the AGA website with a couple more references in the thread.
