According the the last meeting of the IGF in Matsue, in the context of the 32th WAGC:

the 33rd World Amateur Go Championship, which will be held at the end of March 2012 in Guangzhou. China

Probably we'll know final dates around January.

That is early, usually it is around the end of May...

May be this time will be a bit early because of the WMSG in August.

According to the last IGF Directors meeting:

"- The 33rd World Amateur Go Championship will be held at the Guangzhou Qiyuan, Guangzhou, China, from May 11 until May 18 (same venue as the 2011 Asian Games). "

Now... let's see if there are WMSG at all..

It's been announced that the WMSG definitely won't be held in Europe in 2012 and is now extremely unlikely to happen at all. On to 2016 then...

On Ranka they floated the name of Macau across the page.

By all accounts, the money hasn't been found to host the event. So it won't happen.

I read http://int.pokerfed.org/blog as a source of gossip, no mention of anything on there.

It was apparently officially announced at the recent IGF meeting that it would definitely not be in the UK or Europe, but another location is still possible.
