So, according to the latest AGA E-Journal, the Fujitsu Cup is being cancelled after 24 continuous years. It's extremely light on details, though. Does anyone know if this is just another casualty of the global recession, or if this is in response to something (change in leadership, declining popularity, poor attendance, etc)?

Maybe the flood this year in Thailand which caused such a headache for Japanese computer makers would be a part of the reason.

That's a shame.

What a terrible shame. The Fujitsu Cup was a great tournament.
