After I took my daughter to see The Surrounding Game movie, she begged me for an app to play, so I downloaded Cho U's 4x4 app. I just let her mess around with it in the car when I'm driving her around and don't pay much attention. Once in a while I scold her if I hear sounds that show she's just trying to guess the answer. Here's a recent problem where I just said, "show me the problem." The previous one she got right the first time. I gave her a lukewarm "yay!" |

Hi Calvin, Quote: Once in a while I scold her if I hear sounds that show she's just trying to guess the answer. What's her age ? Without the full context of the situation and the history and dynamics of the upbringing relationship, very difficult to tell if you were joking or being too harsh on her... ![]() |

In this case I just remind her because I want it to stay fun. Parenting can be challenging, though. Husbanding, too. Every day is a learning experience. |

This thread prompted me to buy the app, but I prefer stones to those silly cats :-S Maybe practicing with felines will improve my reading ability. |
