It depends. If you are trying to make a base, and have other stones in the area, you should drop down. If you are trying to start a fight or be light, you should double approach or something else. I recommend eidogo.com to find more variations. |

But beware, eidogo uses Kogo's joseki dictionary which features some noseki too: viewtopic.php?p=108008#p108008 . |
