(Of course it's not an approach ko. Also white should probably force at 3 first. It seems none of us are perfect.)

Is this from one of your games?

It's 4 libs against 4 libs, White will win since it's his move.
But white must start with T14, if white plays anything else Black will win the race.

Yes, that's what I found also. After the game was over, of course :)
