It is my pleasure to announce that the English translation of
Xianji Wuku is now available under the title
The Celestial Arsenal, and can be purchased on CreateSpace and Amazon.
The Celestial Arsenal, compiled by Lu Xuanyu and his son, edited by Guo Bailing, and published in 1629, is one of the most important works in go literature as it summarizes the highest level of go in the late Ming dynasty via a comprehensive collection of hundreds of famous games, corner and side josekis, opening and invasion patterns, and over 400 life-and-death problems.
