I was reading the GTP documentation in the Metamachine section of the GNU Go info page and stumbled across this mailing list post: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnugo-devel/2004-08/msg00060.html It's a really neat description of SlugGo, which apparently uses parallel game analysis to beat GNU Go. It's interesting reading. The problem is, too old. Look at the dates on that piece. In 2004 that would be against ManyFaces before it was using a MCTS evaluator (the piece didn't say what version of MFOG, whether 10 or 11). |
