I've just learned that AQ has been ported on Android phones, and it works very well ! It's full of nice features, and seems super strong. You can download AQ-Android HERE I had it play at H4 (!) against CSDL 2dan. AQ-Android settings were depth 3 (max=6) search extent 3 (max=6) search accuracy 4 (max=4) AQ was white, and won easily The game is HERE Some of the features : handicaps (H0 -> H9), 3-way adjustable playing level, 2 or 3 goban and stones styles, variations, time-graph, score estimator, win %, etc. Only drawback : most of the menus are in chinese, but I've had a bit of help from gjchangmu at Reddit to translate what was not obvious. Some screenshots, with translations (correct me if it's wrong) SETTINGS From top to bottom : -AI or HUMAN (for B) -DEPTH (1 to 6) -SEARCHING(extension) (1 to 6) -ACCURACY (0 to 4) -AI or HUMAN (for W) -DEPTH (1 to 6) -SEARCHING(extension) (1 to 6) -ACCURACY (0 to 4) -HANDICAP (H0 to H9) -PLAY Standard screen during play, with win % EDIT : I had forgotten the bottom buttons for this screen : -UNDO -PASS -RESIGN -ESTIMATION -SAVE PULLDOWN From top to bottom : -HEATMAP -moves leading to a ladder (?) -moves escaping a ladder (?) -forbidden moves -fake eyes -SHOW MOVE NUMBER -CHANGE GOBAN STYLE -CHANGE STONES STYLE win % for B graphic variations for one move time per move (in red: for each move, in black: average) All this in your phone... Forget all the above, there's already someone who made an English version ! HERE If you have installed the chinese version, you have to uninstall it first, before installing this english version. |

I don't think there's "official" information. I've installed it and scanned my phone just in case, it's perfectly ok. You can find info about the developer and the translator at reddit (cbaduk) |
