Realtime go server. It is in beta now. You can register & play. There is no need for Java nor Flash, so it works on EVERY mobile (&desktop of course) device. There are not too much players at this moment, but give it a try, and if you'll be there the others will come too. Under firefox there could be some issues, but under Mobile Safari(and all other WebKit browsers) & desktop Opera it works ok. It is not optimized for mobile devices yet, but zoom in/out is so simple that it is not a real issue. [Edit] small tip for iOS users: Instead of original browser I suggest to use any other browser with fullscreen option from AppStore (for example iCab Mobile, Atomic, Mercury, PerfectBrowser etc, etc.). Safari has little bug with rendering this site - stones on the borders of the board are cut off and there is no chat available in horizontal view. Probably it will be corrected by the developer of EGS soon - but till then I suggest to use any other browser. [edit#2] screenshots from iCabMobile on iPhone4 added Of course zoom level is scalable so you can have perfect view for every part of the board ![]()

Very cool, and I applaud your effort. I tried to load the server on my android tablet. It lets me log in, and access the main site, but the room windows are all blank. I tried it on my laptop, and I could see and join games. |

I can never see the list of current games. Does it use a port other than 80? |

@shimari - I will contact a developer of this server and ask him about issue on android. You can also contact with him through the contact section on eurogoserver.com @Joaz - I like the graphics there too ![]() @quantumf - I think that dev of EGS could answer about any technical stuff. I will ask him about ports but I'm just a bringer of the news ![]() Yes, there are no many players yet, but if you want a quiet place to play a game with friend - I think it could be a right place for it. I think I will play my next jubango there to bring little life there. I think there is a place for another go server - especially the one with no java requirement, no special software, just web browser, even mobile browser when you are on the go. Thanks |

I like the angled board. Nobody around to play though. :/ Is it HTML5? |

I think the site got lots of potential and I really hope people will find it. I really hope, and think, the facebook connectivity is a good way to attract new people to the game. |

I'll try it on my wii as soon as possible ![]() Reminds me a bit of go shrine which is also: - realtime - no flash - no java but go shrine has some visualization issues when zooming in/out. |

Make it work for android tablets, get some players in there, and I'll be there everyday! Well... Maybe until Kaya is ready ![]() |
