Has anyone seen the magnetic stones that Michael Redmond used on the demonstration board for the Deepmind match for sale somewhere?

They are double sided black/white, similar to othello stones. Seem superior to the normal demo stones.

This what you're after? Have used pentangle for books and their service was good.

The set in that link has two separate sets of stones. It is also not clear as to how big it is. I have a demo board which is about 3 foot square and has two sets of stones, one black and one white. I think that is probably what Redmond was using in the commentary.

It was quite clear from the stream, that Mr Redmond's "stones" were white on one side and black on the other.

Good point! I noticed that stones too, that‘s a great idea: it solves the everytime problem of having the wrong colour stone in your hand when re-creating a position.

I tried some research in the net looking for the following words:
Othello/Reversi + demostration + magnetic board
with little/no success.

Seems that it is not so standard to have Othello classes like we are used to have for Go ;)
So I was resolving to create a self made set (i.e. asking someone with the right ability to do it :D).

I found them for you :)

Board:

Two-sided stones:

There are also these mini two sided stones:

There is also this single sided board:

170,000 won = 100 gbp = 143 usd = 128 eur

Oh and this is all from Google translate, so don't blame me if you accidentally click on a link and end up accidentally buying a wardrobe or something.

Those aren't two sided stones (except by the definition of not having exposed magnets)

The stones Michael Redmond have been using has white on one side and black on the other side of the same stone. Very cool!

Thanks everyone, particularly Jujube, Kirby & xed_over.

I think you are correct that these are the ones by the looks of things.
