I live in Galveston, Texas, and Hurricane Ike took away my go library, along with most of the stuff in my house. I'm just now getting around to playing again and want to replace some of the books I really liked(and maybe some new ones). If anyone has duplicates or wants to sell some books that they no longer need please let me know.

Some of the titles I wold be interested in replacing are:

Invincible: The Games fo Shusaka

By Bozulich
501 Tesuji Problems
Making Good Shape
One Thousand and One Life-and-Death Problems
Five Hundred and One Opening Problems (2002)

Perhaps some of the Get Strong Series
Opening Theory Made Easy, by Otake Hideo
Tesuji and Anti-Suji of Go, by Sakata Eio
Lessons in the Fundamentals of Go, by Kageyama Toshiro
Intermediate Level Power Builder, by Wang RuNan.

I'd be interested in other volumes too, as the budget allows.

Thanks.

I sympathize.

November 2006 we had a house fire and while only one room actually burned the smoke/water damage prety much destroyed everything on the second floor and we lost about 2500 books. We had "replacement" coverage with our fire insurance so the main problem with things like books was time to efficiently use the reimbursement allowances.

As far as go books, there were only a few at the time and about half of those replaced but since more active with go now that section of the library is many times as big as before the fire (and chess section miniscule comapred to what it once was).

Trust us folks -- there are less stressful ways to have a house remodelling dine than fires and hurricanes.

Not on your list, but I have duplicates of three of the early Ishi Press "Elementary Go Series":

Vol. 2: 38 Basic Joseki
Vol. 3: Tesuji
Vol. 5: Attack and Defense

That last one is a first printing (in case you care); the others are third printing. All offers welcome!

Thanks for the thoughts and offer, but I just recently have replaced most of the volumes by way of an individual who basically just charged me shipping. I was very happy.

Happy to hear that there's some genuine goodwill within the Go community :)
