Hey guys, my name is Nils, and I´m a 22 yo student from Frankfurt, Germany. I´ll spend 3 weeks of my spring vacation in Long Beach, CA. I´ve never played Go in the US before, so I´d appreciate some help ![]() Thank you! P.S: I won´t have my own ride, so I sadly will not make it to the LA go club (I´ve heard that the LA public transport system is a mess) |

This page : http://www.usgo.org/where-play-go lists many clubs in California, including several in the LA area. I don't know the area so I can't tell which, if any, might be close to Long Beach. |

Hi Nils, Sorry, but Los Angeles is a car city. The closest club is probably at the New Gardena Hotel in Gardena ( 1641 W Redondo Beach Blvd ). There is a thread entitled 'To Live and Die in LA': viewtopic.php?f=21&t=274 It has lots of information. Best, Joaz |
