After black hane, the situation is the same as if I had just attached underneath directly (see last post), except exchanging the marked stones, clearly a bad exchange for white.
Black still needs to deal with my cutting stone, while I live in the corner.
Certainly I could have done some more reading, but I felt if I stressed myself out too early, it would affect my play later on. All I can say is that this cut feels good, certainly better than the other local moves, so I will play it.
But he has to make life in the corner somehow, so he might not be able to play it this far. I'm not trying to say the game will actually go this far 20 moves down the road, but if it does, though it may be hard for me, it won't be a piece of cake for him either. This is complicated.
