I think this should be in the Malkovich registration thread, but I'll go ahead and accept. 8 kyu KGS (but probably overranked), I would suggest Japanese rules, no handicap, 0.5 komi, open joseki dictionaries/other books, me playing white, or same, but with two handicap and 6.5 komi. Of course, an even game is also fine. |

If you don't mind, I'll stick to diagrams. |

How easy was it for you to make your move after mine and post a diagram? [sgf-full](;GM[1]FF[4]SZ[19]AP[SmartGo:2.8.3.0] PW[Sevis]WR[8k] PB[metaperl]BR[10k]WT[KGS]BT[KGS] AB[pd][qp] AW[dd] PL[W])[/sgf-full] |

Well, it was a matter of grabbing a default diagram, then adding two stones. I'd say that's simpler than downloading the SGF, adding a move, then uploading it again, especially seeing as the SGF (as it is) does not show the order of the moves, and does not, therefore, help much. |

In SmartGo, I have this game saved. I just play your move and then play mine and then choose "Edit -> Copy" and then click "sgf-full" and then paste the SGF. You dont mind how I handle my moves do you? [sgf-full](;GM[1]FF[4]SZ[19]AP[SmartGo:2.8.3.0] PW[Sevis]WR[8k] PB[metaperl]BR[10k]WT[KGS]BT[KGS] AB[pd][qp][oq] AW[dd][dp] PL[W])[/sgf-full] |

You dont mind how I handle my moves do you? It is a bit slow to have to start up the sgf handler everytime. You can just hit quote when replying, modify the move you want, and submit. SmartGo also may be able to copy and paste in the format used here for diagrams. I'm not sure, but it's worth looking. And I found it here... http://www.smartgo.com/copy.htm |

It is really easy to quote and edit the diagram. And, for what it's worth, makes for more comfortable viewing IMO. |

Please fix your move numbers. ![]() And yes, it's very dangerous to press "quote" when you're in a Malkovich game. ![]() |

I turned on Wiki formatting as suggested and then chose Edit -> Copy as Ascii, but it came out wrong. I'm sticking with the standard sgf posting format. I will report this to the author of SmartGo though. It might be a bug ... notice the reversed move colors in the corner. The next post will have my correct move choice. Here is a screencast documenting the failure: http://screencast.com/t/jgTu8niSlB5v |
