Actually I was wondering why Corey doesn't move :)

Well Corey doesn't move because after analyzing this position from every angle the best move he can come with is to resign. Unfortunately I still have to say my assessment of square Oust is that it has a serious shortage of parity and drama compared to its hex hex counterpart. I noticed Mark, you mentioned how comebacks are "more the exception than the norm" in square Oust. However I would say in Hex Oust the opposite is the case. In fact the more I look at it, the more Oust seems like one of those games that supports the popular theory that hex tessellated boards are superior to square ones. I have even tried a couple games of Oust on a square board with diagonal connectivity in the iggc sandbox but even that seems to wrap up rather quickly. Anyway Topazg if you really want to see what a remarkably deep game Oust is then I would recommend you sign up at iggamecenter.com (you only need to enter a screen name and a password to get started) and try the Hex hex version. and congratulations Mark for the win.

Thanks for playing.

Hex Oust is more adrenaline charged somehow. You can feel like you're about having a heart attack. Square Oust is not as extreme.
