I had a feeling that I was trailing behind by a fair bit, but a few minutes passed and I won on time. (I still don't know how to extract SGFs of my games to upload here.) https://online-go.com/game/1975045 |

Hi Tekesta. to post a SGF file, you need only to click on "sgf" above the text box and copy the URL of the sgf file (usually the download sgf button). |

Hi Tekesta, ![]() ![]() ![]() Again, W ignored your move, ![]() When will you follow up with your moves ?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() W's upper right group is not yet settled, but you must take the vital point to keep it weak: if you block at S18, W is not alive. But if you let W hane S17 and atari Q17, W is almost alive. Another idea is to close W with o14. ![]() ![]() Maybe Q13 kosumi or Q12 keima better. ![]() ( Same feeling as ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() you are not severe enough. Just following W. ![]() ![]() You're not thinking, "What's the most severe move here ?" ![]() ![]() when will you follow up with your moves ?? ![]() ![]() "Push and cut", not "push and tenuki". ![]() ![]() ![]() Find a better local move. Whether you won or lost on time is not so interesting. Look at the quality of your moves. As you can see from your moves up to here, they are frequently soft -- you don't look at the situation and try to find the most severe move. You don't follow up; you often just follow W. That's no way to play Go. ![]() You come to the board to Fight ! Not to yield. Think about it. ![]() |

I will need to play a bit more before coming back to L19 with another game to analyze.
