I played a handicap game with 12k. Though I eventually won the game, I think I had much better advantage after the opening. Can someone review the game and give some good advice to me ? I have been playing go for about 3 months. Thanks! |

The one thing that occurs to me when looking over that is that both you and your opponent need to learn some basic shapes. Many of your moves did not follow sound principles. I would recommend looking over some of the beginners exercises in SL. |

I estimated the score and I was already winning, so looked for some safe moves, hence played it without reading that it is not necessary. ![]() Thanks a lot for your insights. I find the new variations really good! I will start working on end game. |
