Here is a game I played last night in the Pandanet European Team Championship for the UK against Switzerland's John Walch 4d. I felt it was a pretty good game form both sides with a lot of interesting positions. I was losing until the very end when he put himself into damezumari and gave me a ko which let me gain enough points to win. Any comments appreciated, I'm making mine below...

normally I answer with knight's move, but decided to not let him play a book opening.-
I like white's thick shape here as I have h3 aim, as black I would c5 or c4.-
I expected something in lower right, but this seems ok too-
I can't hane as I don't have the ladder. Usually I like black in this joseki if white can't hane, but here my influence seems to counter his top side so it seemed ok.-
I felt o3 would be slack here, so try to make him have some inefficiencies.-
I was happy he chose the simple answer-
This was actually a misclick, as I hadn't intended to play this one yet but was considering the territorially tighter o2 as if he cuts I get a nice squeeze that makes r7 sente so he will likely push there, and I can handle the cut with nice shape with o6 n4 l3.-
calm move that prevents my nice h3, but is it slow? I was expecting r7 q8 r14. If then h3 I get a nice lower side, but he can likely get sente for p17 and n4 ends up slack and better at o2.-
Is this wrong direction because the side is open? Maybe h17 is better? But I've been told I like h17 too much. I do have both ladders though...-
normally it's bad to slide and tenuki, but my plan if black r12 was q15 as I've seen this sort of technique in pro games, the idea is to stop the heavy-making black kick if I directly tenuki. Was this a sensible plan?-
black seems to agree my plan is not so great for him and builds his own moyo, but I felt it was a bit of a thank you move to remove my worries.-
I was surprised by this, I expected f15 to build a nice top side moyo.-
If I pincer I fear black will jump to f15. So I opt to allow him to settle in the left side if I can destroy the top.-
even so I was surprised by this, I thought he might answer on the top (h16) and challenge me to profit enough on the left-
hard decision time, maybe this one wrong? e15 connects all my stones but lets him live in the corner which is no good with my thickness not useful with him settled on left. So is d15 better? I think I have more ko threats. In the end I decided the game sequence to get sente was ok and although it helps him get stronger on left he was already strong there so b8 becomes a bit inefficient.-
endgame already? This one is 10 about points reverse sente. Also thought about k18.WIP...

I didn't expect this pushing from behind, though I suppose he embiggened his left territory in sente, but my group also got out ok.-
I really wanted to push once more, but feared it was overplay and black extend would be hard for me.-
Also thought about reducing from the centre here (around L12?), but figured this was sente. The resulting trade of him enclosing a larger centre and me turning his top side points to my top side points felt good for me at the time, but maybe it wasn't necessary? Afterall if I do reduce it's unlikely black will get to block here soon and I can push later. Also by abandoning the top side points he made s17 clearly not sente for me.- w152 big mistake, was going to s18 which looks thin but actually makes a lot of 1st line dame become points, but I got worried there was some liberty problem with q10 after.
- w172 Regretted this one, should be b7 as per my original plan as that threatens d9 with f12.
