I've been taken to the slaughterhouse in this 11 kyu vs 10 kyu game.
I've gone over it with Leela and I know where it went wrong, but it's not always easy to get concrete/understandable feedback from Leela, so I thought of posting it here, too, and sent it to my Sensei.
Because it's the games you lose, that you probably learn most from.
My take on the game:
- Weird opening from black. In the end, I think after the opening it's about even, I could've done better, but it's okay.
- Middle game is confusing, hard to know where to play. Odd board position, I think. So I decide to attack anything I can, because why not?
- I have some success with one group, and I also manage to make a group of mine live on the bottom, all good so far.
- I get under attack myself and here somewhere it goes horribly wrong. Oh I know the move and I guess the biggest vice was laziness (or being tired*), because I acted without reading and it turned out horribly. (move 158, I think I'm okay if I play F13)
Anyway, I think there's plenty to learn from this game (even from the part I think I did well - I'm a 10 kyu after all, so I'm probably doing everything wrong

) and so once more I'd appreciate any criticism. Even though it's almost impossible for me to process every piece of criticism I get, I do take away a lot from these discussions here on L19, really thankful for that!
So don't hold back! What moves should be history if I want to be a true SDK (and why)?
* This is the 8th game I play today, so it's no excuse but understandable, I think. Played online this morning and than 6 games against a bot. It was blitz, but it was still 6 games.
