Hi all, played a fast game (1m +3x20sec) of Fox server and I ask for some review. Just for the record: my 144 move was a misclick due to some server delay Thanks in advance.

Well I do think 144-145 was the losing/winning combination. Before that, there were many occasions to do something at the top or top lef It's too late for me now to start a Katago based review but I wonder why you treated that area as not so important for a large part of the game. Take move 114 for example, where you can play K18, probing Black to give up 3 stones and if he doesn't, cut at J13 next, a fight you can't lose IMO Even at 76 I'd launch such a semi-attack At 52 I'm tempted to hane-cut at B15 ... All of them moves I'd need to check but that's where my attention goes.

Hi, Fllecha, Glad to see you're coming along. A couple of top of the head comments on the opening, FWIW. Probably better just to attach underneath at C-14. The two space high pincer is probably a minor error, according to the bots. Surely not very good. - Ditto. - Quite good. Non-urgent, I think. Best may be to descend to B-16, cutting off Black's pincered stone and making E-19 almost sente against Black's corner. The keima at C-06 may also be good, making a base while preventing from making one. Ditto, although C-06 may be worth more and B-16 worth less. But my vote still goes to B-16. Maybe blocking on the left side is a good idea, to attack Surely wrong. Better just to extend, like in the old days. The two step hane allowed Black to ponnuki and turn the dubious into a good move.

In fact during the game I felt that cutting was not big because opponent upper left corner was alive and I felt that was easy for him to escape with the other and hurt my D12 stone, but now that I look at it better that was good move, at least B16 had to be played. I was on tilt after 144 misclick (that is not meant as an excuse of course, but I felt ahead for all the game so far) and for few other moves I played without thinking then I tried to catch up but it was too late

Yes, that was a bad moment indeed fo me. After the outcome of the joseki I felt that was wrong direction and thank you move for my opponent. I planned to hide under the carpet my error doing keima on his Q4 (expecting extension) but after his pincer the bottom became jam and I had a poor result indeed

@ uberdude and @ knotwilg ah yes now I get it. What I didn't realize in the game was that saving the two stones would have made his group a floating group. Don't know why that even passed throught my mind (I noticed the snapback )
