Hello everyone!

After the last game you guys reviewed I have been trying to follow all the advice in my games, and I do think I have improved some already :D . I was wondering if you would be willing to give me any advice on this recent game I played. I tried to go through the game myself once already and left some comments on it although I'm not sure if they will show up on the SGF I'm posting. Mainly, I looked at my moves which allowed him to link his two groups and I realize now that had I moved at L8 I probably could have prevent the whole thing :-? . Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any advice you guys can offer. Thanks! :)

EDIT: My comments don't show up because I went through the game in a different program (SmartGo) and I pulled the game from the KGS Archives.

You spent a total of 5 mins. 39 secs on 93 moves, or under 3.7 secs/move,
so please consider the time and effort of the reviewers. A few quick notes: :)

To be fair, if you aren't all that strong good moves and bad moves look a lot a like. Which means each move there are dozens to hundreds of possibilities, and it's only really possible to play from the hip. Play naturally tends to slow down as you learn to focus on two or three likely candidates.

Congrats on the win.

You let him get a lot on the right side early, but you had a nice kill on the top side which almost evened the game for you. I think that you were still behind a tad when the middlegame ended, and you actually won by playing better yose than he.

Overall advice: think about where stones/groups want to expand, and watch the back side of your keimas. Allow some serious thought about the strategic considerations at moves 8/10 and moves 14/16.

EDIT: My comments appear to end after move 22. There is actually one more at 94. ( I did my review fast too. )

I apologize for posting such a short game, it wasn't meant to be disrespectful to any of you guys or your time. Last week I got a job for the summer and my time has been taken up in training and new shifts. So when I get a chance to play, I have been playing fast to get more games (I still probably haven't played a hundred games or around there like the proverb says). Friends have told me playing quickly can teach you more than playing slowly at my level and I have been try to put that thought into practice. Thank you very much for your reviews though! :)
