Post subject:  Unsatisfactory victory (6k vs. 5k)

This is a game I played yesterday.
Despite I won it and it's a good example of my playing style, I am not satisfied with it.

The weak points I see are:
- Bad joseki at the upper right joseki,
- My invasion at the botom corner,
- And my reply to the invasion at the upper left sides.
I'd like you to comment how to fix them.

Also, is mine's a recognizable style? Should I look at the games of any player?

Thx in advance.

Re: Style, I heard one strong player say once about kyu and low dan games, "There is no such thing as style. Only weaknesses." If you want my advice, forget about studying one style if you want to get stronger. If you want something to study, study life and death and tesuji. At move 95, you missed a key life and death that would've killed white and put you even further in the lead.

I am plenty aware that I am not strong enough to study ONE style, but when I replay pro games I feel better with the playing style of some players than others'.

Actually, during play I wondered about many of the points you comment (I missed some others, of course), but I rejected them because I didn't read long enough.
For example, move 95, I didn't notice that it was a killing move. I just thought that it was sente because it threatened the status of that group, so I saved it for a ko threat. :-(

Anyway, thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions, Dusk Eagle. :-)

Personally, I'd choose to study the ones that I felt less comfortable with.
