Here's my take on your game. I think your biggest problem was that you focused too much on saving stones that just weren't doing anything. However, white made his own set of mistakes as well, such as focusing on the middle too long instead of approaching the bottom, which let you build up thickness which purely and naturally turned the entire bottom into territory. Another mistake of his was letting his top left get sealed in and die. Stuff like this let you catch up and win.

Dusk: Yes, this move wastes ko threats and just contributes more stones to the dead heap. D5 is where you should play, and following that sequence, you could consider capturing the laddered stone to remove aji and make your right side thick. Capturing the laddered stone is important, but even I don't know the proper timing for it. ]

In chess, they say don't look at your opponent's rating before the game. I can try that with go, but it's hard to do playing online. They also say to play the board and not the man, which becomes more difficult the stronger the opponent.
I've been playing the board the entire game, but still felt like I was losing. I need to learn how to count, and maybe this feeling will go away?]
