Dear Go friends,

As you may have already heard, I would like to organize the upcoming 65th European Go Congress (07/22 - 08/05/2023). I also found a suitable venue in Leipzig/Markkleeberg. The Rudolf Hildebrand School is located directly on Lake Cospuden, is modern and has good sports facilities. Discussions with the school and the city are going very well. Nothing has been signed yet, so everything is still subject to change. There was now also a meeting with the DGoB board, which supports our idea.

The venue offers the best opportunities for a beautiful summer congress right on the lake. I really hope that we will get the confirmation in November.

Tobias Berben is currently taking care of the website, but it is still too early to put it online. A few more helpers have already been found. If you would also like to contribute to the success of the congress with words and deeds, please contact me as soon as possible using the form.
