Hey guys!

As a college student with an eight week holiday I naturally had some free time on my hands. Then I found out about go, and all my free time was not enough time to play the amound of go I wanted too. I was instantly hooked on the game. The way simple shapes interact with eachother to form potential connections and cuts. Awesome. The value of stones. A few days ago I consciously applied the concept of furikawari, even more awesome.

Naturally I have read some books about Go (Kaga's classic, Attack & Defence, Graded Go Problems, Famous Games), checking out websites (Gocommentary.com), and of course I stumbled upon this forum. I have been lurking for a few weeks and are now enjoying the Malkovich classics with Kirby, Araban, infamous MagicWand etc.

So why not just join in the discussions? Well, I hope I'm welcome here!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to say hi again after a long go playing hiatus. It was my birthday recently and I got a nice go board from my parents, which motivated me to start playing again.

Last year I disappeared without a trace. I think I left Skydyr hanging in a Malkovich-game here, so my apologies to you :P. On the other hand, that's what people, sometimes you just find a new passion and abandon the old one for a while.

I think we spoke and discussed abandoning that game before it actually was abandoned. Do you want to start another?

Ah, I forgot that! That means that I more considerate than I was aware of. :P

I want to be sure I am sticking with it this time. If I am still here in a week or two, we can start a game.
