Hello folks, I have recently read '' History of Denmark '' and I got interested in Scandinavian literature but the problem is that I can't find the names of any famous Scandinavian writers or books - maybe they are hiding from me ![]() Thank you very much! Best Regards Stefany P.S - Sorry for posting so much on this wonderful forum. If you find me annoying, please tell me. |

Seriously? You haven't come across, say, Knut Hamsun, Nobel prize-winning Norwegian author, just to name one? |

Assuming that you count Finland as part of Scandinavia (as Gresil seems to do), I would suggest the books by Mika Waltari. The Egyptian is the most famous (it has been filmed, too), but others are equally enjoyable, These are by a Finnish author, but not about Finland. |
