My last two internships were at Amazon in Seattle, and I had a blast on the occasions when I was able to visit the Seattle Go Centre and meet up with some of y'all. Good times!

For my next internship (September-January), however, I'm going to be in Mountain View, California, instead (one guess as to which company :P). As usual, I'm asking around to see what cool things/people there are to see in the Go scene in that area! How about it -- anything like the Seattle Go Centre nearby? Anyone living there wanna meet up for some games? :D

Nothing cool like the Seattle Go Center here.

I moved from Seattle area to Sunnyvale so stop following me. I'm also looking for work, so I'm probably leaving soon.

Palo Alto Club is small, but Mingjiu reviews your games twice a week.

Sunnyvale Go Club is a small go club that meets at someone's house once a week.

San Francisco Go Club has more hours but is not really convenient from Mountain View.

Check out http://www.bayareago.org. There's also a Bay Area Go room on KGS.

I tried to get a job with the G and failed. :)

Actually I'm really quite hoping the pattern continues, because you've moved to Japan a few times, haven't you? :)

Sounds pretty awesome to me :D

Yeah, especially since I probably won't bother with a car for only 4 months :(

Twenty years ago I would have had to guess Ishi Press.

@Adrian: Does this mean that you will be able to come to the Cotsen?

FYI: I'm currently planning on leaving from San Jose around 1PM on Friday (the Friday right before the start of the Cotsen) if anybody's interested in carpooling.

Now you have an inside contact, wossname. Maybe you can get a job there, too. I hear that the onsite interviews are slightly easier if you know somebody that works there.
