I just thought I'd mention that registration is open for the LOGC. http://www.britgo.org/tournaments/logc Not all the details have been finalised yet, however I'm hoping that there will be some interesting news to announce in the near future What I can tell you now is that to the generosity of the Central London Go Club (http://central.londongoclub.co.uk/members.php) there will be prizes for 1st and 2nd place "below the bar" of £150 and £75. Similarly, thanks to the generosity of the City of London Go Club (http://www.citygoplayers.org.uk/) there will be a prize of £50 for the highest ranked player with a GoR below 10 kyu at the start of the tournament. Sorry, just to be sure, but because it's very unlikely for me to participate in all seven rounds, I would probably play for only one or two days. I don't know exactly how many days and on which days I'll play, so I want to know weather you havr to notify the organizers in advance befor the tournament which exact day you will miss, or do you notify on the day? |
