This move strikes me as odd. It tries to make a wall without an extension (see marked point). This lessens the value of this wall since you can easily splitt his bottom in the future.]
;B[rp]BL[41.22]LB[pl:A][qq:B]C[SoDesuNe:
I feel this is somewhat lukewarm.
In my opinion, you have essentially two possibilities: A and B. As EdLee pointed out, B should be good for Black. White will most likely block towards the bottom (Q3 - otherwise what is the point in P6?) but his shape will be rather unfinished, I think. So he has to either invest on more move to make shape and end in Gote (so you can split the bottom) or extend from his wall and leave behind weaknesses (so you can easier reduce later).

I think this is good for White here. Uses his "thickness" on the right to attack. This is why I would have thought about playing A earlier.]
;B[fo]BL[16.567]LB[cn:1][dn:A][hp:2][ip:B][dr:3][hr:C]C[Should I have jumped with the other stone, since building the lower side is what white wants? (It feels much more severe to attack the corner, but I'm unsure.)
SoDesuNe:
No.
If you play the three-point-extension you have to play this move in almost all circumstances - makes A and B Miai for Black. If you want to derivate, then you have to start earlier (see move #13).
One possibility is to play C here, focuses on settleing quickly. One pattern is: C, 1, 2, 3. Could be even then, although strategically bad for White, I think. His wall has not much impact anymore but he got the corner while threating you.]

SoDesuNe:
Yes, your variation is better but I'm a little bit with Ed on the ladder issue. Unless you know you can capture the corner unconditionally, which I don't see as so easy, your descend is risky.

;W[cj]WL[30]OW[20]LB[ci:A]C[And I push this towards my thickness...
SoDesuNe:
White chose the wrong splitting point. A is better. But just the fact that White can easily split and live makes F17 funny, I think.]

;W[bd]WL[30]OW[20]C[And white does something crazy, and I don't know how to handle it. This stone seems to live automatically regardless of which way I push it - I was hoping it would come out and I could launch some kind of splitting attack. Perhaps I did it wrongly?
SoDesuNe:
That's the "problem" with the Hoshi point. You can have moves around it, but your opponent has a lot of possibilities to make a living group. As I said earlier I don't think F17 is the right direction.]

Well, I think this is okay for Black. Your group is perfectly safe.
A is still open, so White does not have much territory in the corner despite answering.
B is now considerably weaker and you can think about fighting (seperating White) with C.
Your moves serve purpose, you have different strategically follow-ups. What does White have? A wall without much impact, a weakish group and an open corner.
