Normally, is on the 3-4 point, but I'm interested in trying it out this way, if he lets me. It's never been played by a pro according to the GoGoD database, but that's not a reason to try stuff out. I've studied a few of the followups from here and I like them for me. Let's see if I get to use one of them.

Anybody know what happen with t and u? is it just a glitch, corrupted sgf? Or did Cho Chikun really play A1 as a second move?

My explanation of : I want to play at (a), but if black just extends to and I play at (b) to complete the corner, either immediately or a little later, black has already occupied my optimal extension. So, if I play then black avoids the corner, I will play (a). Not only will this make approaching the corner more awkward for black, but it will give me the option of playing at (b), enclosure cum extension. If he takes the corner at (c) or (d), my approach at (e) or (f) will be nicely supported by . If he plays at (b), then W(a). If B(g), occupies his optimal extension.
Interesting. I considered a lot of choices here, so rather than write up a lot on each, I'll just quickly show what I was thinking for many different options. They're not necessarily correct .
I feel like I have good flow here, and maybe a slight advantage, but it ignores the empty corner and I think getting tedomari here will prove to be big.
So, I figured his last move is low and territorial, so let's go with a territorial move myself. If our moves share the same goals, but mine are larger than his (as I believe is the case here), I will have a sure advantage.

I think his move was sensible. It's certainly the move I would have played in the corner. I think my approach at is to be expected. I want to be kind of speedy in development, hopefully getting the chance to approach both hoshi before worrying about my weakness at (a).
If the game goes like this, I will be looking for an opportunity to play at (b). If he pincers at (c), I will just take the corner at (d). If he pincers at (e), I will change direction at (f) or .
I don't know how he will play in the top-right, but I expect he will play the normal joseki in the bottom-right. He probably feels pretty comfortable after taking san-san with my silly little stone on the side (and is probably right to!).
Seems like a fight is breaking out. Because of my 3-3 in the lower left, I don't think I can benefit as much from fighting in this area as opposed to if I had a 4-4 there. Answering with the 3-3 feels a bit submissive (to me). I would jump in here if I had a stone at 'a' though.
So, I'm going with the one-space extension. I think the following diagram is most likely, but he might tenuki for his next move instead. Afterward, the top and the left seem like approximate miai.

Okay, if we follow the normal joseki I have the opportunity to play at since black should play to finish his position. However, if I then approach the top, he gets lovely development on the right-side. Instead of I will play (a) since already has an extension. Note that I have miai for a two-space extension at (b) or (c).

That seems too thin. I could be wrong, but I think if he was planning to tenuki, he shouldn't have played , which let me occupy the 3-3 point. Now his bottom-right group has fewer options. Anyway, I'm jumping in to split him. I'll probably post some variations once I see how he reacts.

This jump makes the marked exchange look aji-keshi, but it's not a huge deal especially since (I think) I've already constrained black's development on the side. Black will almost certainly jump at (c) then I will jump at (d) aiming at (e). If B(f) then W(e) B(g) W(h) seems interesting.
Oh, and I didn't like (a) or (b), that's why I didn't say anything about them.
