Re: solving go problems on mobile phone using java

Sorry, my phone is Samsung GT-S3100, not Samsung BT3100, my mistake.

I tried HandyGo, but it can be used only to solve the 30 problems it comes with.

Re: solving go problems on mobile phone using java

Thank you for your answer, but I need software that can run on my mobile phone. Gogrinder and Wbaduk require Windows.
Gobandroid requires Android.
My Samsung BT3100 runs a proprietary operating system, so none of the above will run.

solving go problems on mobile phone using java

Hi,

After hours of trying, I wasn't able to find a SGF viewer for my Samsung BT3100.
I tried the following software:
- jimmygo (it doesn't have support for loading SGF files)
- mgo (it loads SGF files, but displays only the first 5-6 arranged stones with AW[] and AB[] tag)
- rgo (it shows the ...

Re: Making good shape #1

Ok, thanks for the clarification.
The main theme is dumpling, so the stress is on :b1:.

It's clear for me now that Black should wait for a favorable context so that the cut is not a threat.
There is no net right now for the piece at 'a'.

Re: Making good shape #1

Yes, the point was the tesuji of :b1:, but there was no reference to the ladder.

I was thinking that even if the ladder doesn't work, maybe there is a tesuji for Black after a cut at 'a' - a loose lader or a net, but I wasn't able to find one.

Re: .goa file format

The problem is that the file is binary (without specifications), and the original software doesn't have an option to save/export them. I guess they will remain in that format.

Thank you all for your responses.

Re: .goa file format

As far as I know, in China there isn't a law about intelectual property.
I was refering strictly to books published in China (mainland). Am I wrong?

Re: .goa file format

No, I don't own a copy, but one of my friend has.

However, it's a chinese book, so as far as I know it's in the public domain. Am I wrong?

Re: .goa file format

GoAssistant opens the file, however I don't find a way to convert it to sgf.
This .goa file contains more than one game.

The collection is from the book Next Move Problems, by Fujisawa Shuko, ISBN 7-81051-780-5.

.goa file format

I have some files coded in the format .goa, like the one attached (I had to rename it to 06.sgf because of the restrictions in this forum - please rename it as 06.goa) , from an old software (Go Game Assistant).

Does anybody know how to convert them to sgf?
