GO is really an amazing game!

meanwhile i become 10k. i finished the book "attack n defense" and now i am focusing on the whole board when i am playing.

it opens new ways of seeing the game of go.

and because i focuse too much on the whole board i sometimes forget to take a close look on fighting ...

Are you actually in Japan is that the time zone you are trying to suit?

yes, the japanese time is the problem.

HI Kansai-ben,

You could subcribe for 1-year Audio go lesson on Guo Juan website.
It cost less than 10,000 yen . The benefit is you could watch lots of lesson anytime for 1 year

I wanted to subscribe to guo juan`s group classes but in the japanese time her lessons are beeing held at 2:30 a.m.

therefore I wanted to ask if you have some other recommendations regarding online group lessons?

like her lessons it should be about EUR 10 - 14 for 1.5 hrs.

Fortunately you live in Osaka. Why not go to the Ki-in or local go club and get a lesson?

i got the same idea. but i dropped it immedeately after i saw their prices only for participating their regular ...

hi all,

since march 2011 I`ve studied the kiseido`s opening, L&D and the tesuji book.
right now I study kiseido`s attack n defense.

but since 2 months (since I began to study the L&D book) I`m stuck at 11k KGS and don`t get any stronger. tesuji helped me to get stronger, the L&D book didn`t. of ...

hmmm .... i also failed at a lot of tsumego probs, but i still like them.

but even if i CAN solve tsumego ... it`s still boring for me. "so what?" is what i ask myself after solving one. :)

am I the only one who hates solving tsumego problems?
I love tesuji, they are funny I think, and I love opening problems and making good shape.

but tsumego ..... nooooooo, come on, who invented this?

I am KGS 11k after re-started my go-career (formerly 18k KGS) but I think I`ll never get beyond ...

I`ve read that word so often, always connected with making life in the corner involving a ko.

but what does this term mean? where`s the difference to conditional life?

@Kansai-ben Wbaduk ranks are much more accurate at higher levels. Don't let this discourage you from playing there. There is much to be learned countering such an aggressive style.
