For those who don't know Drago, it's a ...

Should be possible with Drago. Options > Advanced > Board > Start variation from 1. This is available for all export format (text, pdf, word, html).

Re: [sgf] Marking wrong variations when creating go problems

Drago handles the following modes to detect correct or wrong branches:

⋅ uligo mode: wrong variations are marked with a TR (triangle) or WV (wrong variation) property,
⋅ Goproblems mode : correct variations ends with the word RIGHT in comment,

Re: Drago not saving variations? Feature or bug?

Re: Drago not saving variations? Feature or bug?

Either a bug or something confusing with the interface. Could you send me the sgf file and a description of what you expect to see? (email address in about box).

⋅ with the game tree
⋅ with the list of variation coordinates in the sidebar
⋅ with markups on board (ghost ...

Sorry, this is one of the limitations and would require some work and a new release.

Re: Merging two or more sgf files?

So basically it is still a single sgf but it contains many games merged together in the form of variations.

Re: Drago 4.21 available

Drago is a great program
So good to read Thanks!

Drago comes with the "-d 0" setting for pachi. However, pachi seems to require a lot of memory. For instance, I have to close my browser to make it work on my netbook with 1GB RAM.

For the same reason, pachi pattern files should be used only if a ...

This has been tested on xp and w7. I would be interested in if you could get more information by looking at the gtp window and comparing with what happends on the command line.

Re: Drago 4.21 available

To get result statistics without too much user intervention, a program would have to implement a tournament mode enabling to:

play games with various engines
play games with various settings
repeat games with same settings and engines
gather and format ...

Re: Drago 4.21 available

@mw42: good timing!

@skan: yes, it is in the list. Not sure how this could be useful, but would be nice.
